About the
Project

Most User Interfaces (UIs) used today are digital, i.e. they use TFT LCDs or capacitive buttons or even gesture control. But often times physical buttons are needed. Devices that are used in harsh environments, manufacturing facilities, or back-up units do require physical buttons and in some cases mandated. That's why the UI Control Panel was made. The circuit board includes the following: x2 DIP switches x1 ON/OFF button x4 SPST button x4 tactile swithes x1 power pin in case a user wants to set a specific voltage across a resistor on each switch (i.e. pull-down /pull-up) All of the buttons are de-bounced using an RC circuit.
